After too many cups of coffee during late-night trouble-shooting sessions, WPMU360.com was conceived by Dan Therrell, Fairhope, AL and Steve Henry, Hutchinson, KS as a way to provide cost-effective B2B solutions for website development using the WPMU platform.
Dan and Steve have collaborated on many website projects over the past several years. According to their wives, they may enjoy too much the brain-storming of crazy ideas — solutions for making websites easier to create and use!
During the process of developing websites as a team, Dan and Steve have both searched for better tools for themselves as developers, for their clients, and for their clients’ many and varied customers. This quest, more often successful than not, lead to a deep mutual understanding of the need to simplify the online process without sacrificing quality or function.
Their independent use and evaluation of the WordPress platform for recent website projects convinced them to embrace WPMU for future website development, due to it’s many features and benefits, especially cost-efficiency and flexibility on both the customer-facing side and the back-end.
Dan has extensive experience in marketing and customer service, as well as a technical background that allows him to read software manuals for short periods of time without having a screaming fit. This tolerance for gibberish was acquired while studying electrical engineering at Auburn University. Dan worked in the electric energy business for over 32 years with Southern Company and Alabama Power. In 2004, Dan retired from the 8 – 5 corporate world, and is headquartered in a solo home office in Beautiful Fairhope, AL which now allows him to work 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Steve has been around business all his life. He has built his own successful enterprises and worked for fortune 100 multi-national corporations. He’s been around computers and programming from the appearance of the first desktop machines and on the Internet since before it was public. His first ecommerce transaction occurred in 1989 and he’s been blogging before the term was even coined. Ten years ago Steve traveled 1250 miles to relocate in Kansas where he married his lovely wife, Lora, and started his own Internet solutions business.
Dan and Steve bring an exceptional level of experience, expertise, and understanding to the installation and support of WPMU. Their many years in the corporate environment have seasoned them to the results-oriented requirements of both small businesses, and large corporations.
